About Megan Nicholson
Megan Nicholson is a seasoned recruitment professional and CEO of Entrée Recruitment and Entrée Early Years Recruitment.
With a people-first approach, Megan has established herself as a consultative, value-based recruiter, starting her career with Entrée Recruitment in 2003. In 2011, she took on the role of General Manager and became CEO in 2022.
As a leader, Megan is passionate about service delivery, team performance and culture, innovation, branding, and commercial viability. She established Entrée Early Years Recruitment in 2011, committed to providing meaningful employment throughout the Early Childhood Education sector, meeting the sector's demands, and creating positive outcomes for clients, educators, children, and their families.
Megan is a well-recognised advocate in the Recruitment and Staffing industry, currently serving as Chair of the Recruitment, Consulting and Staffing Association (RCSA, 2019). Under her leadership, Entrée Recruitment has been shortlisted for six industry awards, successfully winning two. She was also a finalist for Recruitment Leader of the Year (RCSA, 2019) and instrumental in winning Outstanding Agency (RCSA, 2022 and 2023), a monumental milestone in the organisation's history.
With 19 years of leadership experience and formal qualifications in Human Resources, Megan's primary objective is to foster a positive and ethical workplace culture through a multi-style leadership approach. Her transformational leadership has inspired employee growth, loyalty, and satisfaction, resulting in a staff retention rate of six years among the support team and seven within the consulting group.
Megan directs various initiatives, including corporate well-being, staff training and development, volunteering, mentoring, and fundraising programs. In 2019, she launched Entrée Training and Development to support her passion for the community and corporate responsibility. Passionate about education, she has contributed to employment pathways, work readiness, reskilling, and tailored client training within and outside the division.
