How will I know that my application for temporary work has been successful?
  1.  Once you have applied, please allow us adequate time to review your application. 
  2.  If successful, one of our consultants will reach out to organise a phone screen and a face-to-face interview.
  3.  Following our communication prompts, you must verify all documentation, including clearances, vaccinations and qualifications, and references.
  4.  Once your references are complete, all documentation is verified, and there are no issues, you will receive a welcome email including your contract and onboarding information.
  5.  Please return your contract and any outstanding information as soon as possible to commence your assignment.

How can I log into my Timesheet Portal?

After completing your first shift, check your inbox for a link provided by our Payroll team (ensure you check your junk inbox). After this point, you may visit www.entree.com.au and log in via the top-right button that says Access Portal.

How much will I get paid?
We pay according to the appropriate modern award for the client site where you will work. Sometimes, you will be paid different rates depending on the client, industry, and skill set of the role.

What if I am sick?
Call your consultant as soon as possible so that they can inform the client and find a replacement if necessary. You can contact your consultant via phone, and our office number is monitored via voicemail from 6 a.m. daily at (08) 8100 8877. Please note that we do not pay sick leave, as casual loading is included in your hourly rate.

Can I get time off?
We would not expect you to need time off for short-term assignments (i.e. less than a week or two). If you are attending interviews for permanent jobs, they should be made outside of normal business hours. Otherwise, check with your consultant first (not the client), no matter how much time off is needed, so we can liaise with the client on your behalf.

What if I miss the timesheet deadline?
Submit your timesheet as soon as possible after the cutoff time. You will receive a reminder from Entrée if we haven’t received your timesheet by the time required. You will be paid next week if you do not submit your timesheet afterwards.

Workplace Health and Safety
You should be inducted by your host employer at the client site on the first day of your assignment. Please contact your consultant if you are not given an induction and have concerns about WHS.

What should I do if I have any WHS concerns/identify a possible health hazard or injure myself whilst working at a client site?
Talk to your supervisor or the client’s WHS representative and contact your consultant as soon as possible! Your consultant will advise you on the best course of action based on the circumstances.

How do I obtain information about WHS policies and procedures?
Please make sure you have read our WHS policies in our Employee Induction Pack and speak with your consultant if you have any questions regarding WHS.

What if I don't like the assignment, company, colleagues' location, etc?
Call your consultant. They are by far your best option for resolving problems effectively and objectively—no matter how trivial they may seem, talk to your consultant first.

Do I have to wear corporate attire?
If in doubt, yes! Your consultant should tell you what the environment is like before you commence, but if you are unsure, dress on the conservative side until you are better informed and can see the general level of presentation for yourself.

Can I use my mobile phone?
Please do not use your mobile whilst on assignment. Ensure you have a voicemail facility set up so you can turn the phone off while at work. You can check your messages during breaks. All personal calls should be kept to emergencies only or with your supervisor's permission.

Will you look for permanent work for me while I am temping?
During your initial interview, your consultant will discuss with you the most appropriate process for managing your commitment to your temporary assignment while also seeking permanent work.

How do I approve or reject timesheets?

If it’s your first time being a timesheet approver, you will receive a separate email with your username and link to the portal via our system to set your password, please check your junk mail if not received, as sometimes it can appear there as spam. Your username will generally be your email or the email provided to us on set-up. Otherwise, if you are a return approver, you can also log into the portal via this link Portal. The portal will enable you to approve and reject timesheets. If you require assistance, please email our payroll team at payroll@hender.com.au. Once you have your login details, please approve or reject all timesheets by 12 pm each Monday. Once our employee submits their timesheet, an email will be sent advising you that this has occurred, which will also contain a link to push to log in to the portal and approve.
