The role the candidate was placed into wouldn't fit the typical mold of a temp position, as it involves her undertaking operational tasks inherent to the overall functioning of the team, and overall larger unit. To this end, she was required to undertake a level of responsibility that I imagine many temp staff in other situations would not be required to do.
